VDL Castings Heerlen and Weert IATF 16949 certified!

IATF 16949 certification

Following the previous ISO 9001 certification, VDL Castings has now also obtained the IATF 16949 certification!

The IATF 16949 describes the requirements for the quality management system with regard to the design and development, production and installation of automotive related products. The technical specification has been drawn up by organizations participating in the IATF and has also been approved by ISO. The aim of this new international standard is to develop a quality management system that:

·         Ensures continuous improvement

·         Prevents errors

·         Includes specific requirements and tools for the automotive industry

·         Minimizes changes in the supply chain

By obtaining the certificates, VDL Castings meets the industry specific quality standards required for the automotive market.
